Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she has directed, produced and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson born 8 January 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is a talented artist. Benson was a member of the Reform Jewish synagogue as she grew in her teens. Her mother was a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father, is too Jewish. Benson has appeared in numerous movies and TV series after Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar.
