Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was an Argentine who is of Scottish and English heritage. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. The Taylor-Joy family was a family with six kids. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family was originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands to Hill House. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. After she turned 16, she quit school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
